The opportunity:
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel (2+ PQE) to join our team, reporting to the Head of Legal.
This is a great opportunity to gain broad, hands-on in-house experience, working closely with senior colleagues while developing autonomy.
The hours:
We follow a hybrid working model and are open to flexible or part-time arrangements.
What you’ll be doing:
Working with our Head of Legal you’ll support legal compliance while enabling commercial success.
Contracts & commercial support:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts
- Support business growth while managing legal risk
Governance & compliance:
- Support Board processes and company secretarial duties
- Maintain policies and governance frameworks
Regulatory & specialist areas:
- Ensure UK GDPR compliance
- Support IP, regulatory and insurance matters
Operational responsibilities:
- Maintain contracts database
- Support legal and compliance projects
Person specification:
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor (2+ PQE)
- Strong contract drafting/negotiation skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- In-house experience (not essential)
- Experience in a sales/distribution environment
