We are currently looking for a XLR Executive Coordinator to assist the XLR Manager in maintaining a first-class executive handling facility, developing business and providing excellent customer service levels as expected within this role.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist the XLR Corporate Manager in providing handling assistance to corporate customers and delivering excellent customer service levels as expected, and to operate always above and beyond to give maximum service.
- Coordinate with Slot coordination, notifying such departments of aircraft movements ahead of flight arrival/departure.
- Deliver first class customer service to our clients, operators and crews daily and offer concierge style services to assist with their travel/onward travel.
- Assist the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) Manager in ensuring that all aircraft movements are logged correctly and invoiced accordingly in a timely manner. Working with a set schedule of fees and charges and learning how to charge operators correctly.
- Work with the UK Border Agency and Special Branch as well as other such bodies in informing relevant parties of aircraft arrivals and departures.
- Coordinate additional services as required by corporate customers and assist in invoicing accordingly and updating daily movement and fuel sheets and logging them in various programs.
- To be able to marshal aircraft, load bags, check aircraft and carry out other ground support functions appropriate with executive aircraft turnarounds.
- Work closely with Bournemouth Airport Fuels to supply our clients and operators with fuel for their aircraft on demand and pre ordering fuel as required.
- Using the XLR vehicles supplied to safely transport passengers and crew to and from the FBO and their aircraft abiding by Airport safety rules and procedures.
- Occasionally prepare small amounts of food for customers using the Jet Centre facilities. Full training will be given.
- Continually research and monitor other UK FBO’s with the objective of ensuring XLR remains ahead of the competition. Report writing will be required.
- Assist with other staff and the development of the XLR Bournemouth Jet Centre
- Continually keep the XLR Jet Centre facility clean and tidy, hazard and waste free. Reporting any defects to the FBO Supervisor in a timely manner.

- Previous experience of Corporate Business Jet handling or operational experience.
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to occasionally work on your own and without assistance, especially with busy periods and multiple passenger arrivals and departures from different operators.
- UK driving License

The Detail
- Flexibility to include weekends and out of hours for emergency flights and diversions when operationally required.
- Salary: £13.78 per hour. Zero Hours contract
