Job Title: Sports Business Administration & Marketing Apprentice
Contracts: 36.5 hrs Full time, fixed term for 18 months
Salary: Apprentice Grade 1: £26,948 per annum
Location: Oxford, with day release to Abingdon and Witney College as required.
Oxford University Sport is situated at the iconic Iffley road sports ground where the world record four-minute mile was first broken.
We have an opportunity for a full-time Business Administration and Marketing Apprentice to join our friendly team for 18 months. While in post you’ll also be supported through a Level 3 apprenticeship with our partners at Abingdon and Witney College

About the Role
As a Sports Business & Marketing Administrator Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in the business mechanics that allows us to keep customers moving, solving problems, and supporting the day-to-day operations.
We are a fast-moving department with around 3,000 commercial members, supporting 5,000 student athletes and welcoming hundreds of thousands of visits in 2025.
Few days will be the same. However, we would like to work with an apprentice who is eager to help colleagues to shape and embed new business opportunities and processes which support all our members in their customer journey whether they’re on a mission to get more active, be healthier or attain high performance competition standards.
We will work hard with you to tailor what you do day to day in work to learning requirements that will best support your Apprenticeship.
