We’re now looking for a hands-on, customer-focused engineer to join our growing team, supporting installations and servicing across the UK.
The Role
We are seeking a Field Service Technician with strong digital printing experience to join our growing team. This is a home-based role, ideally suited to someone located in the Leicester/Midlands area, working remotely to support our digital printing and automation customers across the region and globally. While our head office is based in Bordon, Hampshire (GU35 0AX), this position is field-focused and does not require daily attendance at our main site. We are looking for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys travel, variety, and direct client interaction.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing digital systems at Customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas
- Planning and managing service visits using CRM tools
- Servicing digital printing systems for preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance
- Supporting customers with enquiries, spare parts, and technical troubleshooting
- In-house onboarding and training provided
Key Requirements
- Essential: Hands-on experience with digital print systems (printheads, ink delivery, RIP software, HMI)
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and common RIP platforms
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and software
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
