Delivery Driver – Caprinos Pizza

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join the Caprinos Pizza team. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely, promptly and professionally, while also supporting the in-store team when there are no deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders safely, accurately and within the expected delivery time.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Handle food carefully and maintain good hygiene standards during deliveries.
- Use your own vehicle to make deliveries.
- Have valid food delivery insurance that covers food delivery.
- Keep your vehicle clean and suitable for food deliveries.
- Check orders before leaving the store to ensure they are complete and correct.
- Follow all road safety and company procedures.
- When there are no deliveries, assist with general in-store duties, including:
- Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant.
- Stocking and organising fridges.
- Restocking ingredients, drinks and packaging when required.
- Keeping the kitchen and customer areas clean and tidy.
- Assisting other team members with general tasks as required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own reliable vehicle.
- Valid insurance specifically covering food delivery.
- Good knowledge of the local area or ability to use GPS/navigation.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Willing to carry out both delivery and in-store duties during quieter periods.
- Previous delivery or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and flexible. This is not a delivery-only role. During periods when there are no deliveries, you will be expected to support the restaurant team with cleaning, stocking fridges and other reasonable in-store duties.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
