We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Timber Crane Operator with a valid HGV Class 1 license to join our team at SRM Haulage.
In this vital role, you will be operating a timber crane. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, mechanical knowledge and a positive attitude are essential for the role.
This job role requires 4+ nights out a week and our yard is based in Oswestry, Shropshire.
Wages can be discussed privately depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate timber cranes to load, unload, and transport timber efficiently.
- Use mechanical knowledge to inspect crane equipment regularly, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience operating timber cranes.
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of a timber crane.
- Prior experience working with timber cranes is highly desirable.
