Due to continued growth, were looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our Chard branch.
As Assistant Branch Manager, youll support the day-to-day running of a busy plumbing and heating branch.
Working closely with the Branch Manager, youll help lead the team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service.
This is a hands-on role combining leadership, sales, customer service, and operational support.

Serve customers at the trade counter and over the phone

Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Support the delivery of the branch sales plan

Support goods in/out and general branch duties

Assist with stock control, levels, and replenishment

Help maintain smooth and efficient daily operations

Supervise and motivate the team

Support the Branch Manager in improving performance

Provide cover in the Branch Managers absence

Ensure safe working practices are followed

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance
-
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role

Background in plumbing and heating supplies (preferred)

Strong organisation and administrative skills

Good sales awareness and commercial understanding

Ability to build strong relationships
