Pennells Garden Centre is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Baker to join our busy restaurant team.

Working Hours
- Monday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Total: 28 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a range of fresh cakes, scones, traybakes, pastries, and other bakery items.
- Ensure products are consistently presented to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
- Keep the bakery area clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure products are available throughout the day.
About You
- Previous baking experience is preferred, either in a commercial or professional setting.
- Passionate about producing high-quality baked goods.
- Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
- Holds a good understanding of food hygiene practices (Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential).
- Be willing to work in other areas of the restaurant as required.
