G Fitzsimmons & Son are seeking a reliable and motivated Site Labourer to support our steel fabrication and installation teams. You’ll assist trades on site, handle materials, operate power tools, and help maintain a safe and efficient working environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience who wants stable work and opportunities to grow within the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting steel fabricators and site fitters with daily tasks
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials safely
- Confident use of hand and power tools
- Supporting installation work on active construction sites
- Maintaining clean, safe work areas
- General labouring duties including basic measurements and site prep
Essential / Preferred Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- CSCS card – Green Labourer Card preferred
- Previous site experience or experience in steel fabrication (preferred)
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively

- Monday–Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 – 13:00
