Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook chicken, burgers, and other menu items using appropriate kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Serve completed dishes promptly and accurately to customers or front-of-house staff
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Requirements
- Prior experience not needed in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Basic culinary skills such as meal preparation and handling kitchen equipment safely
- Previous experience serving customers or working in a restaurant is a plus but not mandatory
