Job Type: Self-Employed / Freelance / Contract
Pay: £15.00–£20.00 per hour (depending on experience and job type)
About the Role
CallMeBuilders is looking for reliable, hardworking self-employed labourers to join our growing contractor network across Leicester and the surrounding areas.
You'll be offered a variety of property maintenance and labouring work, supporting cleaning teams, property clearances, renovations, and general site tasks. You can choose the jobs that suit your availability.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with property clearances and strip-outs
- Loading and unloading materials
- Moving furniture and heavy items
- General site labouring
- Assisting cleaners and tradespeople
- Basic demolition and preparation work
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Following health and safety procedures
- Representing CallMeBuilders professionally
Requirements
- Previous labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
- Own transport is advantageous
- CSCS Card desirable but not essential (depending on the work)
- Right to work in the UK
- Self-employed or willing to work on a self-employed basis
