Environmental Efficiency Officer (Energy & Operational Savings)
Location: Based at Head Office in Rhyl but working at our 22 Parks in North Wales & Cumbria
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Environmental Efficiency Officer to help us reduce operational costs through improved energy efficiency and resource management.

What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and analyse energy consumption across buildings, equipment, and operations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce electricity, gas, water, and fuel usage.
- Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives that deliver measurable cost reductions.
- Conduct site inspections and energy efficiency assessments.
- Review operational processes to identify waste and inefficiencies.
- Work with managers and staff to implement resource-saving measures.
- Monitor utility expenditure and track savings achieved.
- Produce reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Support environmental compliance and sustainability programmes.
- Deliver staff awareness campaigns promoting energy-efficient behaviours.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement practical solutions.
- Good understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Desirable
- Qualification in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Energy Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Experience conducting energy audits or utility reviews.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, building services, or energy monitoring systems.
- Experience delivering operational improvement or cost-reduction projects.
- Familiarity with environmental legislation and sustainability reporting.
