Role Overview
Miko is seeking a Sales Promoter to represent the brand within a leading premium department store in London. The role is focused on delivering an elevated in-store experience through engaging product demonstrations, proactive customer interaction, and consistent sales performance. The successful candidate will demonstrate a polished, extroverted, and customer-focused approach aligned with a luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage customers and deliver compelling product demonstrations to parents and children.
- Drive sales performance by effectively converting customer interactions into purchases.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service in line with premium retail expectations.
- Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation, and in-store brand standards.
- Accurately process sales transactions and support basic inventory management.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and sales insights to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm at all times.
Mandatory skill-sets
- Prior experience in luxury or premium retail; experience within a leading department store is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Extroverted, confident, and engaging personality with a strong customer-facing presence.
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions and close sales.
- Strong interest in technology, AI-enabled products, and innovative consumer brands.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-footfall retail environment.
- Professional appearance, strong attention to detail, and reliability.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak festive periods.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
