Hours:
The role of Forklift Operator:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
- Carrying out stock rotation and replenishment activities
- Assisting with order picking when required
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and following health and safety procedures
- Working within a chilled warehouse environment
The ideal Forklift Operator:
- Valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (in-house licences not accepted)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or chilled warehouse operations desirable
