Sport Development (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for outstanding candidates for work beginning immediately.
The candidate will be responsible for planning and delivery of a number of sessions which fall in line with the coaching vision and values of the company.
To work closely with the Company Director and all other coaches.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum FA level 1 or above football coaching qualification
- First aid and safeguarding certification
- Must be prepared to cover work at different venues
- Current DBS
- Other qualifications in a variety of sports would be desirable
- Knowledge of in school delivery and best practice for KS1 and KS2
- Full, clean driving license
Session Details
- Initially as follows;
- After School Clubs 15.00 - 16.30pm Monday to Friday options in the Solihull area (availability is not required five days a week, two or three days as an example, is okay)
- Optional evening sessions and weekends available
- Further sessions will be available to cover due to our work with school events, local sports clubs and partner companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, delivery and evaluating sessions
- Responsible for offering engaging inclusive sessions
- To evaluate pupils and sessions and report to up line as and when necessary
- To be fully responsible for the safety and welfare of all participants under your care
- Child Development and Progression - every child matters approach
- To liaise on a regular basis with the General Manager and Company Director to ensure that the needs of all participants are catered for.
- Understand the company Safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice guidelines. Use this understanding to ensure safer recruitment, safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment. Other responsibilities
- To attend staff meetings and CPD as required.
- To be aware of current trends and best practice in a school environment
- To continually look for ways to develop and improve our coaching programme.
