Job Overview
We are seeking someone who is flexible regarding shifts, which will include evenings, weekends and split shifts. Cellar experience preferred. Must be able to work unsupervised. Have a passion for customer service and work well within a small team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring smooth service during shifts in the absence of the Club Manager.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of beverages and ingredients in the absence of the Club Manager.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor cleanliness of the bar area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Lead by example in serving customers efficiently while demonstrating excellent hospitality skills
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Leadership qualities combined with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good understanding of serving techniques and hospitality best practices
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times
