Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced FEMALE LIVE IN CARER to join our team. This position is restricted to female applicants due to the needs and preferences of the individuals receiving care and is applied in accordance to the Equality Act 2010.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience working in the UK care sector.
- Proven experience supporting individuals with Autisim Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and mental health needs.
- Good understanding of person-centred care and promoting independence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work professionally, respectfully, and compassionately with service users and their families.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Health and social care qualification.
- Experience working in community-based care settings.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, positive behaviour support and mental health recovery approaches.
