This is a great opportunity to join our small and busy bakery.
Ideal applicants will have experience working in a commercial bakery or commercial kitchen or as a butcher, however we will consider exceptional candidates with no experience.
Working in a small team you'll get a wide range of experience. This role will include:
- Production of a range of pork pies, sausage rolls and hot-eating pies.
- Packaging and labelling baked goods
- Preparing orders
- Food safety and hygiene are a priority. Ideally the candidate with have level 2, but preferably level 3. Training can also be given to committed applicants lacking Level 2 and 3 food hygiene.
As with many small businesses there is lots of opportunity to experience a range of different areas, and develop new skills. We are famous for our Bakewell Tarts and Puddings, and confectionery forms a big part of our bakery operation.
The candidate will be a positive, constructive professional who's enthusiasm and attention to detail will help grow both Bloomers and our wholesale customers business.
The role is Part time, 16 hours split between 2 days preferably Monday and Friday with the potential for more hours. We will consider candidates that prefer different working days.
