Job description
This is a full time, permanent role offering 37.5 hrs per week in our Workington store and would offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to develop and progress in their career within an exciting technology-based industry.
The job will be split 50/50. Half of the role will be as retail assistant in our new state of the art showroom in Lillyhall. The other half will be assisting with customer deliveries and installations.
We are looking for a motivated individual who has a superb work ethic and eye for detail.
Principal Accountabilities
- Retail sales in store, over the phone and digitally
- General shop floor restocking and display work
- Assisting customers and answering phone enquires
- Work both individually and within a team to provide an exemplary shopping experience from start to finish for Peter Tyson customers
- Gain an extensive product knowledge across a variety of consumer electronic goods
- Represent the company in a professional manor in customer homes
- Gain experience in installing a wide range of electrical products & home appliances
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service preferred
- IT literate – basic use of excel and outlook important
- General interest in electronics useful but not necessary
- Friendly and approachable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organisational skills must be strong
- Ability to translate complex information into easy understanding for customers
- Able to work weekends
- Willingness to learn and develop sales skills and product knowledge
- Able to work individually and as a team
- Able to represent Peter Tyson in a professional manner
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
