We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our charity preschool team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing early years environment where you can make a real difference to children’s development and wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
· Provide children with appropriate support, teaching and stimulation.
· Act as a keyworker, ensuring the individual needs of your key children are met.
· Contribute to weekly curriculum planning, child-interest sheets and in-the-moment planning.
· Deliver engaging adult-led activities to support children’s next steps.
· Complete observations and termly tracking to monitor children’s progress.
· Complete 2-year-old progress checks and support early intervention where concerns are identified.
· Maintain high-quality learning journals for children throughout their time at preschool.
· Build positive relationships with parents and keep them informed about their child’s progress.
· Attend parents’ evenings and share relevant information with families.
· Complete referrals and liaise with outside agencies when required, with appropriate support.
· Help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised preschool environment, including daily risk assessments.
· Contribute to staff meetings, preschool policies, procedures and extracurricular activities.
· Undertake relevant training and share learning with the wider team to support best practice.
What we’re looking for
You will need:
· A minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
· Suitable references
· A good standard of written and spoken English

· Salary: £16,441.81
Pay: £15,333.50-£16,441.81 per year
