Excell Supply is recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Congleton from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.
The Role
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently.
- Support students to complete their work and stay focused.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, youth work, or similar setting.
- Is confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
