Join the UK’s gardening charity – We are looking for a Planning and Coordination Officer, based at RHS Garden Wisley. The Planning & Coordination Officer will play a key role in supporting effective planning, coordination and organisational clarity across the Commercial, Innovation and Marketing Division. Working closely with the Director and senior teams, the role will provide structured planning oversight across a varied portfolio spanning marketing, membership, digital, retail, food and beverage, licensing and ecommerce. The post holder will help manage forward plans, timelines, governance documentation, action logs, briefings and reporting, ensuring priorities are clear, workstreams are well coordinated, risks are identified, and projects are delivered to agreed timescales and standards. This is a central coordination role in a busy and fast-paced environment, supporting cross-team collaboration, leadership decision-making, event planning, research, analysis and process improvement.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused individual with proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex environment. You will bring strong planning, project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track actions and timelines, and produce clear, accurate materials for meetings, reports and decision-making. Confident using Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Co-pilot or other planning tools, you will be comfortable working across teams and handling sensitive information with discretion. Strong stakeholder management, excellent presentation-building skills, curiosity about improving processes and technology, and the judgement to manage competing priorities will be important to success in this role. This role will help the RHS achieve more impact as a charity and bring the benefits of gardening and growing plants to more people across the UK any beyond.
