As a growing operation working alongside major logistics partners like Amazon, as well as general haulage and cold-chain clients, we are looking for hardworking, dependable drivers to grow with us.
Because we operate a agile fleet, flexibility is essential. We need adaptable drivers who take pride in their work, can roll with operational shifts when required, and possess a true "can-do" attitude.
Shift Options Available
1. General Haulage (4-on / 4-off): Tramping across your 4-day working block.
2. Temperature-Controlled / Fridge Work (Full-Time): Tramping (typically 4–5 night-outs per week).
Key Responsibilities
General Haulage & Amazon Work:
Operating Class 1 vehicles safely across national routes and Amazon fulfillment networks.
Managing curtainside trunking, deliveries, collections, and timed depot slots.
Ensuring loads are safely secured using straps and curtain tensioners.
Fridge Work:
Transporting chilled and frozen goods to distribution centers nationwide.
Monitoring fridge temperatures, setting unit parameters, and maintaining accurate temp logs.
General Requirements Across Both Roles:
- High degree of operational flexibility to adapt to changing route schedules or customer needs.
- Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and prompt defect reporting.
- Maintain clean cab hygiene during tramping blocks.
- Comply fully with EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 (C+E) UK driving experience required.
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Flexibility and strong work ethic – essential for our fleet setup.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no CD, DD, DR, or IN endorsements for insurance purposes).
- Proven experience in tramping/overnight stay work.
