Farm Shop Assistant
Full-time | Daytime hours | Includes at least one day at the weekend
At Denstone Hall Farm Shop & Café, farming, food and family are at the heart of everything we do. From our home on the farm, we've created a place where people come to shop, eat and spend time together.
We're looking for a full-time Farm Shop Assistant to join our team. We trade seven days a week, so the role includes daytime shifts and at least one day at the weekend.
It's a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you enjoy working with customers, like being busy and don't mind rolling your sleeves up, you'll fit right in. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and taking pride in doing a good job are far more important to us than having years of retail experience.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and help every customer have a great experience.
- Be an ambassador for Denstone Hall and our products.
- Keep the shop well stocked, presented and ready for trade.
- Receive deliveries, replenish stock and help maintain availability.
- Support opening and closing routines when required.
- Work closely with the wider shop and café team to keep the day running smoothly.
- Maintain high standards and use your initiative to get jobs done.
What we're looking for
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- You take pride in your work and look for ways to help without being asked.
- Someone who enjoys working in a busy environment.
- A team player who is reliable and happy to help wherever needed.
- Great customer service skills and confidence talking to people.
- Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
