As we continue to grow, we're excited to be opening our new Edinburgh branch and are looking for a Client & Acquisitions Executive to become one of the founding members of the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at the very beginning of an exciting new chapter. You'll play a key role in shaping the success of the branch, building lasting relationships with clients and delivering the exceptional service that Atkinsons is known for.

What you'll be doing
No two days are the same. You'll combine exceptional customer service with operational excellence, supporting clients throughout their journey whilst ensuring every transaction is handled securely and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients to the Edinburgh branch and delivering a first-class customer experience.
- Guiding customers through our buying, selling and precious metals storage services.
- Managing appointments and responding to enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Building trusted relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Processing purchases of precious metals and other valuable items.
- Testing, recording and booking acquisitions onto our bespoke systems.
- Completing customer due diligence, identification and compliance documentation.
- Preparing products for secure storage, collection and onward processing.
- Supporting stock control, branch administration and the day-to-day running of the office.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to help establish and grow our Edinburgh branch.
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in doing things properly.
You'll ideally have:
Essential
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- A professional, organised and trustworthy approach.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience within precious metals, jewellery, luxury retail or financial services.
- Experience handling high-value goods.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or customer due diligence processes.
- Sales or relationship management experience.
- Experience using stock or inventory management systems.
