Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and Utilities Surveyor to lead and oversee multi-disciplinary land and utility surveying operations across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of survey projects, ensuring safe, efficient, commercially successful, and high-quality delivery in line with PAS128 standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
This is a fully remote role, supporting onsite surveyors. The role would suit someone with a strong background in Utilities Surveying and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple surveying projects nationwide.
- Manage all aspects of project lifecycle delivery, including planning, mobilisation, execution, reporting, and close-out.
- Oversee programme management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate internal survey teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in surveying and survey management.
- Strong knowledge of PAS128 standards and underground utility surveying methodologies.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management capability.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
- High level of technical competence in utility detection and survey deliverables.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in survey software, reporting systems, and project management tools.
Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
