Duties
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and storage spaces
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Manage waste disposal efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards
- Support with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas for smooth kitchen operations
- Follow strict hygiene protocols to uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Help with general cleaning duties in dining and service areas to maintain a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with basic food preparation or kitchen tasks is advantageous
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards within food service or hospitality industries
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a lively environment
