We are looking to expand our laundry team here at ACF, Cornwall.
Key responsibilities can include:
- Operate commercial laundry machines and equipment such as washers, dryers and ironing machines.
- Sort laundry items in preparation for washing.
- Load and unload machines and monitor washing and drying cycles.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and take appropriate action.
- Record processed items.
- Package cleaned items for delivery.
- Follow health and safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any malfunctions of machinery or safety concerns to the appropriate person.
Requirements:
- Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and understand cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle physical tasks.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends.
