Housekeeper / CleanerJob Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across a portfolio of serviced accommodation properties, including apartments, Airbnb units, and hotel-style accommodation throughout London.
This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the flexibility to travel between multiple sites. Previous experience in hospitality, serviced accommodation, Airbnb, hotels, or residential cleaning is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Housekeeping Duties
- Carry out thorough cleaning of guest accommodation to a high standard.
- Complete departure cleans, ensuring properties are fully prepared for incoming guests.
- Perform mid-tenancy cleans and refresh services as required.
- Conduct deep cleans according to company schedules and standards.
- Clean and sanitise kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and communal spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and maintain all areas of the property.
- Ensure all guest amenities and consumables are replenished where required.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
Linen and Inventory Management
- Complete accurate linen counts and stock checks.
- Ensure clean linen and towels are appropriately stored and distributed.
- Report shortages, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with the organisation and management of housekeeping supplies and cleaning materials.
Quality Standards
- Ensure all properties meet company quality standards before guest arrival.
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and operational procedures.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation at all times.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure properties are guest-ready.
Site Travel and Flexibility
- Travel to various accommodation sites across London as required.
- Work efficiently across multiple locations and schedules.
- Adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements.
Skills and ExperienceEssential
- Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Experience cleaning serviced accommodation, Airbnb properties, hotels, apartments, or similar hospitality environments.
- Experience carrying out departure cleans, mid-stay cleans, and deep cleans.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various locations across London.
Desirable
- Experience using housekeeping management systems or mobile inspection applications.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within hospitality environments.
- Previous experience working within serviced accommodation or short-term rental operations.
