Residential Support Worker – Ofsted Outstanding Children’s Home
Parker SC provides Outstanding (as rated by Ofsted) trauma-informed residential care for children and young people in North Yorkshire, covering both Northallerton, along with Brompton-on-Swale.
Parker SC adopts an ethos of acceptance and nurture, the model of care in our homes encourages us to support each child in an individualistic way. Our adults are trained in trauma informed approaches which promote our culture of child-centred practice. Our ethos and culture guide and support our teams to consider children’s lived experiences and how best to support and care for children in safe and nurturing ways.
We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join our team in the DL10 area, supporting our amazing children!
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to drive
- Access to a vehicle for business/work purposes (all our homes do have team vehicles, so use of personal car will be minimal)
- Ability to work shifts, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
*Please note: this role is not a 9-5 position.*
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare
- GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) at C or above
