About Us
Deeside Management Services Ltd is a growing facilities management company delivering professional landscaping, grounds maintenance and property services across commercial sites.
We are a team of 12 and are now expanding as we push our landscaping division to the next level.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative who can step up and take responsibility on site.
You will be working in a team of 2–3 operatives but will be expected to lead the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role — not just turning up and following instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working across commercial landscaping sites
- Leading and organising a small team (2–3 operatives)
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and general maintenance
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Keeping the team productive and on task
- Reporting works completed (photos/job sheets)
- Flagging issues or additional works to management
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (MUST DRIVE)
- Previous grounds maintenance / landscaping experience
- Ability to take responsibility and lead by example
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Able to work at pace and maintain standards
- Comfortable managing a small team on site
Pay & Hours
- £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks
