Responsibilities
- Serve drinks to guests efficiently and with a friendly attitude, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Take orders and provide recommendations on beverages, including alcohol and non-alcoholic options.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Follow food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices at all times.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to keep the bar well-stocked throughout shifts.
- Engage with guests to create a lively, inclusive environment while adhering to responsible serving guidelines.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or bar service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good time management to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Restaurant experience helps in understanding fast-paced service environments.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential.
