About the Role
Oakley Food Projects is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial fit-out projects across the UK.
You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
The role involves managing approximately 2–3 projects at a time, with weekly site visits and at least 1 day a week in the office based in Winnersh, Wokingham.
You will also be responsible for the commercials and financials of the projects, including managing gross profit margins, forecasting, and budgeting project revenue on a monthly basis. Therefore willingness to travel, as well as experienced within project financial management is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple fit-out projects (typically 2–3 at a time).
- Develop and manage project programmes, schedules, and critical paths.
- Lead Site Managers and coordinate subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, valuations, and gross profit performance.
- Provide regular progress updates to clients and company directors.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and CDM regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and programme adherence.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ project or contracts management experience within the construction or commercial fit-out sector.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors.
- Good understanding of construction programmes and project scheduling.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations
- SMSTS Certification
- CITB management training
- Project Management qualification
