Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful planning and execution of construction projects. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
- Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and budget targets.
- Oversee cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to prevent overruns and maximize efficiency.
- Prepare detailed proposals, bids, and change order estimates that reflect current market prices and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project scope, expectations, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies during all phases of project management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating and project management within the construction or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, costs, and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability in cost control practices to keep projects within budget constraints.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.
