Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Borough Green, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality service and support to clients. Day-to-day, the role includes managing service schedules, coordinating installations and maintenance visits, and ensuring equipment and products are delivered as promised. The Service Manager will lead and support service personnel, monitor performance, and resolve client issues promptly and professionally. This role also involves maintaining service standards, optimizing processes, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to improve customer experience. The Service Manager will regularly review service metrics, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience managing service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and process improvement.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues effectively.
- Team leadership experience, including coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic technical understanding of coffee and beverage equipment, or willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence working with clients at different levels.
- Proficiency with standard office software and service management tools; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or a related service industry is beneficial.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel locally for site visits, if required.
- Relevant vocational training or a qualification in operations, hospitality management, or a related field is an advantage.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
