We are seeking someone who is caring, empathetic, and respectful and passionate about supporting vulnerable adults. A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
As a Wellbeing Worker, you’ll provide direct practical and emotional support to adults receiving social care. Working under the guidance of qualified professionals, you’ll help individuals identify recovery-focused goals and connect with community resources to enhance their sense of purpose, identity, and self-esteem.
You’ll support people with mental health needs, those accessing community social care, and individuals involved in intermediate care. Your role will include:
- Supporting daily living activities such as budgeting and domestic tasks.
- Encouraging involvement in meaningful activities and education.
- Promoting mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Building therapeutic relationships and helping individuals access community networks.
- Acting as a safeguarding adult and responding to emergencies.
We are seeking someone with:
- Experience in working in health and social care or a similar role.
- A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social care or equivalent.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
- A commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
- A knowledge of person-centred approaches
You must be able to travel independently across a rural area and be flexible to work outside normal business hours if needed.
