Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Yetminster, who are actively recruiting for a Wholesale Packer to join their production team.
Responsibilities:

Carry out final checks of packed products to ensure the correct item has been packed and the specified weight matches the customer order

Ensure the work area is tidy and clear at the end of each shift

Ensure customer, company and site compliance requirements are consistently met
-
Always comply with company policies and procedures relating to safe food handling and hygiene
-
Report any accidents and absences in line with site reporting procedures

Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety responsibilities
Do you have:

The ability to work under your own initiative
-
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
A high level of attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed operating procedures
-
The ability to follow instructions, particularly those relating to personal Health & Safety and the wearing of PPE

Good physical fitness, as the role involves a substantial amount of physical activity
-
A can-do attitude with good communication skills
-
A basic understanding of verbal and written English
Working Hours:
-
0630-1700 - Monday to Friday
-
Including 2 x 30-minute breaks
