Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own home. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Duties
- To maintain and manage our clients continence needs
- To maintain our clients breathing to an optimum level.
- To maintain a tidy clean house.
- To maintain our clients nutrition and hydration needs via PEG.
- To maintain a good level of health and personal hygiene
- To keep our safe and secure
- To maintain their skin Integrity
- Monitor saturation levels
Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care necessary.
- A valid driving licence
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Excellent IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
- Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and patience when interacting with clients.
