Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Church Cleaner to join our team. You will be working weekends, Monday and Wednesday evening. There is the option for this to be a job share. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our congregation and visitors.
Role Purpose
To ensure that all areas of SOUL Church are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene, creating an environment that reflects excellence, care, and professionalism. This role is pivotal in supporting the overall mission of the church by maintaining a space that is welcoming, safe, and exemplary in quality.
Key Areas of Responsibility
· Deliver thorough cleaning services across all areas of the church, including offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, kitchens, restrooms, and worship spaces.
· Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in every task.
· Ensure all cleaning equipment and products are used safely, appropriately, and in line with health and safety regulations.
· Monitor and report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the relevant team members.
· Manage cleaning schedules efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to church activities and services.
· Uphold the church’s values by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
· Support special events by providing additional cleaning services before, during, and after gatherings, always ensuring a pristine environment.
