Key Responsibilities

The Group Head of Claims will manage the operational execution and strategic oversight of multiple distinct claims pillars, ensuring consistent operational execution and approach across all locations. This includes coordinating resource planning and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of claims processes.

The role will involve generating insights critical to the claims team's performance and driving continuous improvement in processes, leveraging technology such as automation and system enhancements.

The individual will partner with and manage experienced Heads of Claims globally, fostering collaboration and building better ideas for future robustness.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-jurisdictional teams effectively at leadership level, demonstrating an understanding of operational structures and how to optimise team performance.

Proficiency in managing the claims function and a leaning towards or understanding of effective workflow processes and the application of technology in claims are essential.

High emotional intelligence (EQ) is crucial for working effectively with diverse individuals and management styles.

The role requires strategic capability to improve processes, manage volumes, maintain service, and enhance quality, along with the ability to pre-empt shifts in business needs and adapt resource capabilities accordingly.

Fresh perspectives and different approaches to add value to the claims leadership team are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be of leadership calibre, potentially someone ready to step up into a role with quasi-Chief Claims Officer responsibilities, or an experienced equivalent professional seeking a new organisational environment.
