Summary
We are looking for a bus and coach technician/engineer with experience working on older double/ single decker buses. This position is based in Skelmersdale and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established transportation provider committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buses and coaches.
- Diagnose and carry out all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and technical knowledge.
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues
- Qualifications
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or engineering, preferably with buses or coaches.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience in diagnostic systems such as Jaltest, PITO, INSITE, ACTIA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications and PCV driving license is advantageous.
Approximately 36 hours per week.
Pay: £600.00-£800.00 per week
