Duties
- Build trusting relationships with children and young people, offering consistent support and encouragement
- Assist with daily activities, including educational tasks, recreational pursuits, and personal care as needed
- Mentor individuals by providing positive role modeling and guidance to promote personal growth
- Collaborate with team members to develop tailored support plans that meet each individual's needs
- Support teaching activities by helping implement learning strategies and reinforcing educational goals
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous development and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and progress reports in line with organizational policies
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people in a supportive or educational setting
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate others
- Knowledge of teaching methods and strategies suitable for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to meet individual needs effectively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Relevant certifications or training related to child support or education are advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: £13.00 per hour
