About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our busy bakery team. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the daily production, preparation, packing, and presentation of our bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and production of bakery items, confectionery, and cakes.
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
- Pack and label finished products for display and sale.
- Help decorate baked goods as required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients would be an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet production goals.
- Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
Hours of work: 10:30am-6:30pmSix days over seven includes weekend working.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8.87-£12.71 per hour
