Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our small friendly dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our dental team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. This role involves assisting dentists during procedures, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure the treatment room is clean, organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance and explaining procedures clearly.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EXACT dental software and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Support patients with post-treatment advice and answer any questions they may have.
- Follow infection control procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards.
- Some reception duties as and when required
Experience
- Prior experience in a dental setting.
- Knowledge of patient care practices and nursing principles
- Proficiency in IT systems used within dental practices is preferred .
- Strong communication skills are essential for liaising effectively with patients and team members.
- Organisational skills are vital for managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records.

The hours are
Monday 9am - 6pm
Tuesday 9am - 6pm
Wednesday 9am - 5pm
Thursday 9am - 5pm
Friday 9am - 1pm
GDC and indemnity paid for
Pay: £15.00 per hour
