This role is all about using your practical skills and attention to detail to look after a place that people love. As a Facilities Assistant , you’ll assist the Facilities Team across several sites based in Telford. Our Facilities team are responsible for the smooth running of the sites, including everything from cleaning, repairs, monitoring and testing alarms.
Contract duration: Fixed term contract until February 2027
Working Hours: 15 hours per week over 3 days, (5 hours per day). You'll work 2 week days and 1 weekend day per week.

It’s a dynamic, immersive environment where no two days are the same, and where you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for visitors.
What you'll be doing:This is a varied role, you’ll be working across several Ironbridge Gorge sites including Blists Hill, Coalbrookdale, Jackfield and the Toll House. An average day could include meter readings, legionnaire testing, repairs, fire alarm testing, cleaning, compliance checks and providing site access to contractors.
