Responsibilities
- Assist passengers boarding and alighting from vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Provide support to passengers with mobility challenges, including helping with wheelchairs or walking aids
- Ensure passenger safety by monitoring behavior and maintaining order during transit
- Communicate clearly with passengers about routes, stops, and safety procedures
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of safety equipment
- Report any incidents or concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or supervisors
- Support the driver with operational tasks when necessary, such as door operations or passenger counts
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to assist individuals with diverse needs confidently and compassionately
- Physical ability to assist passengers, including lifting or supporting mobility aids if required
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Previous experience in customer service or caring roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to passenger transportation is a plus
