Job Description
EBB Ventures is a venture studio building real-world education and innovation initiatives, including the Floating Campus experience platform.
We are now hiring a Founding Business Development Lead (UK-based) to drive immediate partnership creation and commercial opportunities across hospitality, experiences, education, and innovation ecosystems.
This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategic-only or exploratory position.
We are aiming to secure and activate partnerships within 7–14 days of onboarding.
You will work closely with the founding team to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and support the growth of a new kind of education and innovation ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Build and close partnerships for Floating Campus and related initiatives
- Engage hospitality venues, operators, founders, and institutions
- Convert conversations into live commercial collaborations
- Identify and execute revenue-generating opportunities
- Shape the early commercial model through real deals, not theory
- Work directly with founders to rapidly test and launch initiatives
Who This Is For
We are looking for a UK-based operator who can generate and close opportunities quickly.
You may have experience in:
- Business development or partnerships (startup or scale-up)
- Hospitality, events, experiential platforms, or venue partnerships
- Founder-led sales or early-stage commercial roles
- Community-led growth or ecosystem building
You are:
- Comfortable selling in ambiguity
- Motivated by building something from zero
- Strong at initiating and closing conversations
- Based in the UK and able to engage partners locally
