Qari / Madrassah Teacher Vacancy
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Qari to join our masjid and madrassah team.
Role Responsibilities
- Teach madrassah classes for children
- Lead the daily prayers on Sunday
- Support students with Qur’an recitation, tajweed, and Islamic manners
Working Hours
Madrassah Teaching
- Monday – Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Imam Duties
- Lead the daily prayers from Fajr to Isha
- 1 day a week
Requirements
- Qualified Qari with strong tajweed and Qur’an recitation
- Experience teaching children in a madrassah setting
- Good character, punctuality, and communication skills
- Ability to engage positively with students and the community
- Hifz qualification
Desirable
- Previous imam experience
- Ability to teach basic Islamic studies
Salary
Competitive salary offered based on experience and qualifications.
Accommodation can be provided in exceptional circumstance
Due to the local community need the applicant should be able to speak Urdu and English and must follow the Sunni, Hanafi, Barelwi school.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
