Job Summary:
**UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT**
Due to increased workload we have a full time position for a skilled sheet metal worker/fabricator, we are a leading metal fabrication company specializing in manufacturing various bespoke products in stainless steel ,mild steel and some aluminium, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and fostering a positive work environment, although experience in aluminium is not essential, the successful person would need experience in Tig welding and be able to work from drawings to a very high standard.
Responsibilities
- Utilize TIG welding techniques to join sheet metal components accurately.
- Fabricate sheet metal parts according to provided specifications.
- Perform grinding to smooth out rough edges and ensure proper fit.
- Utilize hand tools and tooling for precise assembly of sheet metal components.
- Apply basic math skills to measure and cut sheet metal accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge
- Sheet metal experience
- Fabrication skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Basic understanding of assembly processes
- Strong background in grinding and welding techniques
- Familiarity with tooling and basic math skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £18.00-£19.00 per hour
