The Job :
Key Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
- HGV Class 2 Licence minimum
- Full driver CPC & Digital Card (CPC course paid for by Company after qualifying period)
The Requirements :
- Skip experience preferred but full training will be provided
- Operating vehicle equipment
- Maintaining good standards of housekeeping
- Undertaking daily vehicle checks
- Is a trustworthy individual with the ability to work on their own initiative
- To complete all paperwork promptly & accurately as required
- Has extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules & regulations
- Loading / Unloading vehicles
- Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct process of all loads
- Work flexibly across the site as directed by Supervisor
- Ensure high standard of housekeeping and H&S
- Delivering and collecting skips within the district
- Collecting End of Life Vehicles
- Assisting with other work in the yard when required
- Ability to work every second Saturday morning is a requirement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£22.50 per hour
